This is an outcome from a three year project on 'Teaching Musical Composition in the 21st Century' funded by LITE (Leeds Institute of Teaching Excellence).

The journal issue also includes articles from participants in our 2021 symposium; with perspectives on composition teaching from UK, Ireland, and the USA.
