TEMPO article on composition teaching in 21stC.
Martin Iddon and Scott McLaughlin have had an article published in Tempo journal, on teaching composition using the 'flipped classroom' approach. This is an outcome from a three year project on 'Teaching Musical Composition in the 21st Century' funded by LITE (Leeds Institute of Teaching Excellence).
The journal issue also includes articles from participants in our 2021 symposium; with perspectives on composition teaching from UK, Ireland, and the USA.
