Composition at the University of Leeds

The University of Leeds represents a vital hub of contemporary music, drawing together a network of world-leading composers, performers and researchers. An active part of the new-music scene, both in the UK and internationally, we host regular concerts, workshops, and research seminars for our community of composition students and researchers.

As well as the School of Music, Leeds is a thriving community of practice researchers across the arts, and actively promotes interdisciplinary and collaborative work, both within the university and with the larger arts and performance scenes across the North, the UK, and beyond.
