The lecture is titled ‘L’art de toucher’, and discusses Evan's recent keyboard music. The venue is the School of Music (Lecture Theatre 3), and will also be live-streamed online [https://youtu.be/rOw-Epk-QF4].

Johnson is an internationally renowned composer whose work focuses on extremes of density, sparsity, quietude, fragility, and degrees of hapticity. His work has been performed at, among others, the Darmstadt Summer Courses, Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, Wittener Tag für neue Kammermusik, and Milano Musica. He is also a writer on contemporary music, published in Contemporary Music Review, Tempo, Music Theory Spectrum etc.
